Childrens Book "Deer Worry" — Self-Directed
Authored, illustrated, and designed a complete children’s picture book from concept through physical production. The book follows a young buck and his mother as they journey through wintry landscapes in search of a warm, springtime home. Created the characters, illustrations, typography, and page layouts, then prepared and preflighted print-ready files for KDP publishing.
Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
Art Doll Customization — Self-Directed
Reworked an existing manufactured doll into an original character design inspired by the colorful work of Lisa Frank. I created this doll through surface preparation, sculpted clay additions, hand painting, mixed-media detailing, tail construction, and structural modification of the legs into a digitigrade form.
Processes: Surface preparation, paint removal, clay sculpting, hand painting, mixed-media assembly, fiber application, anatomical modification, detail finishing
Materials: Existing vinyl doll, clay, paint, fibers, adhesive, and tail materials

Glass and Light Mural - Experiential Design
Created Photoshop concept artwork and assisted the lead artist, Betsy Schulz, in translating the approved design into a custom glass-and-light mural for a residential courtyard. Contributed to the design, hands-on preparation and assembly of the physical artwork.
Design Approach: The mural’s color palette was developed to suggest sunlight filtering through moving water. Warm orange tones create the impression of light breaking through the surface, while layered blues and greens establish depth, flow, and a sense of movement. The concept was designed with the final glass and light installation in mind, allowing the physical materials and illumination to reinforce the underwater atmosphere.
